Susan Halevi returned to Steiker, Greenapple & Fusco, P.C. in 2018, representing companies and trustees in ESOP acquisitions as well as advising cooperative businesses. Susan practiced with the firm (then Steiker, Fischer, Edwards & Greenapple, P.C.) from 2002 – 2008. She then moved to Hawai’i, where she argued First Amendment cases in federal court and served as special legal counsel for a public access television center. From 2014 – 2017, Susan was the New Mexico Regional Director for the Anti-Defamation League.
Susan graduated from Duke University School of Law, J.D. (Honors), where she was an Articles Editor of the Duke Law Journal and a member of the Moot Court Board. She earned a master’s degree from Tufts University and her undergraduate degree from Vassar College. Susan clerked for the Honorable Collins J. Seitz, Chief Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and practiced commercial law (including middle market lending) and real estate with Ropes & Gray and Hill & Barlow in Boston. Susan has training in mediation and leadership for diversity, is a member of the bar of The Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and is admitted to practice in the State of Hawai’i (inactive status).
